Farewell party On Thursday 10th March we organized a farewell party for our American guests from Amherst High School (Buffalo, N.Y.). They were in South Tyrol for about two weeks. 15 American students and Miss Angela Ferri arrived in Italy at the end of February. After visiting the sights in Rome, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Milan, Venice and Salzburg they spent some time in South Tyrol. The students came to our school, attended classes and participated in various school activities. The legendary pub crawl through the streets of Bozen on their last night and the karaoke contest at Cafe´ teatro where Miss Ferry made her debut with her amazing interpretation of the song "Every breath you take" was a higlight of their trip. The American students greatly enjoyed the night life of Bozen and made lots of friends. The farewell party was a success. Both our School Band and the Shakespearean play were much applauded. We hope our American friends will be back soon and we look forward to meeting them again in the fall in Buffalo.
