"HOB" ON, HOP OFF IN NEW YORK CITY We have spent four wonderful days in New York. We have been to the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, The MoMa, Wall Street and the Stock Exchange. We have walked through Cenral Park, ridden on top of a sightseeing bus uptown and downtown. We have been to Brooklin by night and watched the famous Broadway musical The Phantom of the Opera. We have even celebrated birthday on Times Square.And of course we shopped till we dropped.... We have really been impressed by this amazing city. New Yorkers seem to be in a hurry all the time, cars, taxis, policecars everywhere.. The noise is enormous. But it has been an exciting experience for us. Yesterday we flew from NY to Buffalo and our host families gave us a great welcome at the airport.
